Our Mission
At MISSION VANS CIC, our mission is to improve the lives of those in need by providing free or low-cost transport for humanitarian aid organisations including foodbanks, soup kitchens, community groceries and other relief organisations, enabling them to secure surplus food and non-food items as they become available.

In 2023 the founders of MISSION VANS CIC saw a need for low cost, flexible and effective logistics to support humanitarian charities. This was driven by two facts; donors are willing, and sometimes grateful to pass on food and other items to charities who can collect them and, charities like food banks and community pantries need the donations but do not have transport.

So far, we have collected donated food and other items from supermarkets and wholesalers, and delivered to foodbanks, soup kitchens and charitable community groceries. Also, equipment for a community grocery and furniture for family in need of relocation for safeguarding reasons.
